McGwire Painter comes from a long history of farmers. FARMING is not only in his blood but also, very much in his heart.
What started as a 4-H project turned into a business.
Meet the Farmer: McGwire is a sophomore at Cowanesque Valley High School. He plays for his school’s basketball team, he’s love woodworking, has a passion for building, and has been driving farm machinery almost before his feet could touch the pedals. He enjoys hunting and shooting his guns on the farm for fun. He’s ALL active, ALL of the time!
McGwire takes pride in what he does and how he takes care of his animals.
Before and after school he feeds, beds, and loves on his animals with the help of his family.
When it is farrowing time he is always on the clock. Diligently checking the mamas every chance he gets, attentively sitting next to them while they deliver their babies to make sure all goes smoothly.

McGwire has been showing hogs at the Tioga County Fair since the young age of 9. He also shows steers, lambs, and goats.
